Tahir Zafar is the Global Head of Data & AI Strategy at Nomura, responsible for advising executive and C-suite stakeholders to harness the power of data and AI to innovate and optimize across functions. Tahir is based in Singapore.
Tahir previously held various leadership roles at PwC and Accenture, where he consulted for a range of top-tier investment banks including Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Barclays and UBS. He has successfully delivered a variety of initiatives including business and digital transformation, data strategy, AI strategy, and regulatory change.
As a thought leader in the field, Tahir is a regular speaker at international conferences and summits, sharing his insights on the integration of AI in financial services.
Tahir holds a degree in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
