Marcello is the co-founder and CEO of Apromore, a leading-edge process mining software company. Apromore is used by organisations around the world to leverage the full potential of their transactional data to achieve digital transparency, counting customers in banking, insurance, financial services and other verticals. Marcello is also a professor of Information Systems at the University of Melbourne. He has over 15 years of experience in the fields of business process management and process mining. He has executed R&D projects totalling over AUD 28M in grants and delivered consultancy, training, and strategic advice to hundreds of practitioners in Australia and Europe. In 2020, he was named the most cited Australian scientist in the field of Information Systems by The Australian.
