Biography

As an independent consultant, Paul specialises in strategic advisory services aimed at helping organisations make the most effective use of information and digital capabilities. He also lectures and researches with Deakin University and Epworth Healthcare in the field of Health Informatics. He has a unique blend of insights from his experience in medical research, IT, business consulting and digital marketing. Most recently Paul was Acting Director Digital Health for Department of Health & Human Services (Vic).

Paul obtained a Ph.D at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (Melb. Uni), and subsequently a Grad. Dip. Business (Organisational Development) at RMIT University. He has many years of leadership experience including as MD of a UK consulting firm. He is a confident and accomplished leader, presenter and facilitator and has been widely engaged by clients for executive and board level consultancy. Paul brings his energy and talents in eHealth, digital innovation, strategy development and transformational change to client organisations. He is known for his high energy levels and collaborative working style which helps colleagues and team members achieve goals. He believes strongly in the benefits of diversity and has been a diversity champion throughout his career.
