Melissa has been the Chief Operating Officer of IAG NZ since 2017 and prior to that was the EGM Transformation. She has accumulated a broad range of experience over her career, from M&A strategy and business transformations to leading end-to-end business operations at companies such as Fonterra and Coca-Cola Amatil.
Melissa moved into financial services because she saw an industry that was ripe for transformation, but has stayed because she discovered it was an industry that made such a meaningful difference to the lives of New Zealanders. As Chief Operating Officer, she is focused on building a simple, efficient and agile organisation that delivers exceptional customer and people experiences, including claims management, supply chain, digital, data & analytics, strategic investment, enterprise optimisation and agile delivery.
