Laura has over 20 years of experience in the technology, security and risk management industries with a focus on financial services. She is the Country Business Information Security Officer – Australia/New Zealand for a global Financial Services organisation and is responsible for all Information Security related matters in country. Laura is also the current Vice President for the ISACA Sydney Chapter having served on the board for the past 3 years. In addition, Laura is the Sydney Co-Chapter lead at AWSN along with being a member of both the FAIR Institute and AISA Sydney chapter committees.
Laura holds an MBA from MGSM and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science, along with industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM and SABSA.
Laura has been nominated for a number of industry awards including being the 2019 recipient of the Jo Stewart-Rattray award for Women in Leadership from ISACA International.
