Biography
John Baddiley joined the Reserve Bank as Director of Digital Solutions/Chief Technology Officer in May 2022, sitting within the Digital Solutions and Security directorate, providing technology services across the Bank.
John has over 30 years’ experience in the technology industry, including 16 years at BNZ, 9 years consulting across the public and private sector in New Zealand, and 2 years consulting in London. John’s recent focus has been on technology strategy and the acceleration of organisational transformation through new technologies such as cloud.
In his spare time, John is the President of the Wellington Mountain Bike Club, a trustee of Trails Wellington, and a board member of Cycling New Zealand.
