With over 7 years at The Southern Initiative, Joel has been a driving force in fostering digital equity initiatives, tech-enabled enterprise development, and innovative ecosystem growth in South Auckland. He has contributed to the Diverse Digitech Ecosystem Accelerator, the South Advantage Collective, and innovative shared spaces, all focused on equipping individuals with the skills to navigate the evolving landscape of work.

Joel also serves as Kaitiaki at Recycle A Device, where he champions laptop refurbishment to bridge the digital divide among students. In his role as Director of Windsor Park Hub Limited, he oversees a network of enterprises that achieve positive social outcomes. As a trusted Steering Committee Member of Tech for Good NZ, Joel’s expertise facilitates the intersection of technology and social impact.
