Alvin Foo is Citi’s Vice President for Global Communications based in Singapore.
He leads communications for the firm’s Asia South Wealth and Citi Private Bank Asia South businesses, driving media engagement, raising the businesses’ external profile and brand, and supporting their C-suite leaders with internal communications. Alvin is also a member of the Asia South Wealth extended leadership team.
Alvin has close to 20 years of experience in the corporate communications and media industry. He was a business and sports journalist at The Straits Times before joining the ExxonMobil Asia Pacific public affairs team as a media and communications advisor.
His main areas of expertise as well as contributions are in C-suite Comms, Media Relations, Reputation Management and Crisis Communications.
Alvin has a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree with honours from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and is co-author of the “Heart to Heart with Asian Leaders” book published by World Scientific.
