The second eCommerce Expo Asia will be held in Taipei this year, focusing on big data, fintech and cross-border e-commerce.
International e-commerce firms including TeBuy, Twitter, OSP and Appier will join with over 10,000 domestic and international business at the second annual eCommerce Expo Asia, to be held from October 5th-7th in the Taiwanese capital.
With data from TechCrunch predicting the scale of the online economy in South East Asia to increase to around AU$270 billion by 2026, the region is working to upscale and nurture the steady flow of innovative solutions within the industry, which is expected to grow by 32 per cent, reaching a total of AU$170 billion over the next decade.
The expo will be held in the hall of the Taipei World Convention Centre and is set to feature eight separate exhibits and their relation to the e-commerce space in Asia, including cross-border interactions, online marketing, website development, logistics, mobile commerce, digital finances and big data.
