Two leading Australian fintech groups have joined the Global Fintech Hubs Federation, launched this week to focus on uniting innovators across the globe.

Sydney-based groups Stone & Chalk and Fintech Australia will join the Global Fintech Hubs Federation (GFHF) – an initiative launched to foster and promote fintech collaboration on an international scale. Not-for-profit hub Stone & Chalk will join Australia’s national fintech association and representative incubators from more than20 countries.

The GFHF has been launched by Innovate Finance, a member association of fintech platform Innotribe. Stone & Chalk and Fintech Australia will join with leading technological representatives from hubs in Singapore, London, Silicon Valley and China.

“As the Fintech sector develops globally, it has never been as important to encourage discussion and collaboration within the financial industry,” said Innotribe and The Swift Institute global head of securities markets, Fabian Vandenreyedt.

“Innotribe looks forward to fostering a bigger and stronger Fintech ecosystem through this initiative.”
