About the Event

The FSTGov Future of NSW Government Summit 2024 returns for its 9th Edition, assembling its leaders to confer on digital transformation initiatives crucial to unlocking solutions for the State’s latest priorities in citizen service.

Pre-empting 2024, NSW’s latest budget and change in Government has sparked a rally of the state’s public sector around critical conversations for the reprioritisation of digital investment, delivery and innovation.

With a concerted shift towards partnership across Government and industry, goals are set to revolve around NSW’s ability to maintain the momentum of integral digital initiatives, pivot to optimise the core approaches of Government ICT, and innovate to solve remaining challenges left unchecked.

Along these lines, FSTGov Future of NSW Government Summit 2024 will host deep subject-specific expertise, networking, and insight into:

  • Continued delivery of core and common projects including consolidated ICT platforms, centralised service delivery models and cyber security.
  • Maintaining progression and continuous improvement of critically funded initiatives.
  • Tying digital and data to the anticipation of citizens, communities, economy and Government needs.
  • Emerging ICT and innovation to solve legacy challenges and do ‘more-with-less’.
  • Technology opportunities for capability deduplication, simplification and streamlining.
  • Enabling State digital assets and collective action towards a connected Government.
  • Jumpstarting innovation pathways through partnership models and agile procurement.
  • The application, continuous improvement and alignment of existing digital reform and infrastructure to well-defined outcomes.
